Dust Collectors
Fabric dust collectors are commonly known as “baghouses” and for some applications they are the most efficient and cost effective. In baghouse collectors, the dust filled air stream passes through fabric bags that filter the dust particles. Cartridge dust collectors are another common type of equipment used in industrial settings for air pollution control. Unlike “baghouse” collectors, in which the filtering media is woven or felt bags, this type of collector employs perforated metal cartridges that contain a pleated, nonwoven filtering media. Mist Collection
Mist Collectors capture smoke, mist, particulate, and fumes generated during the machining process and filter it with a minimum of maintenance and little if any replacement filter costs. Collectors can be mounted directly on machining centers or ducted to a central system. Uncollected coolant and machining oil mist can cause slippery floors and collect on machines, walls and ceilings, creating an unpleasant, high-maintenance working environment.
